Total and complete ass. That sums up how I felt. My legs are totally fucking smoked and I'm at a loss for any good explanation why. My plan to lead up to the Fort Bragg 10-Miler was to train hard this week, then taper hard next week, but this might just end up being a very extended taper since my legs are in no shape to compete.
There's also a nagging case of the fuck-its, which is becoming manifest in progressively later and later wake-up times.
The RHR at start is encouraging in that I'm not at risk of overtraining with a morning RHR of only 45...but it's only an indicator of one thing rather than others.
