No shit, I actually listened to a song by Pearl Jam. As much as I loathe grunge, I like the Neil Young song and I'm a sucker for covers.

I almost turned back and quit this morning, but better sense prevailed and I sucked it out for an easy 5-mile recovery run.

This morning was okay at first, but started turning as oppressively hot as the day of the race.

Glad I wasn't thinking of doing anything fast today, but I'm going to take tomorrow off as a mandatory rest day anyway. I've done the recovery runs I needed to do after the race.
