Odometer N/A: old, old pair of racing shoes today. I was trying to think of today as a time trial and to see whether the racing shoes were still runnable. Neither was the case.

I'm wondering if I'm overtrained. I take a 2.5mi break yesterday and my legs were absolutely dead, dead, dead today. Now, granted, it was unbelievably humid and it's been two weeks since my last haircut, so there were some contributing factors.
I think I'm going to take it very, very easy as a taper. That means Monday and possibly Tuesday are going to be "nothing but eat" days. No running, because my legs are just smoked out.
This was absolutely one of the shittiest runs for relative performance I've had in years. Either that, or it's a further manifestation of my general sense of "I don't give a fuck."
