Today was a day in forced discipline. The guy I was running with was adamant that I not jackrabbit the start, which is a legitimate hazard. Today was cold and windy enough to warrant wearing a jacket and hat and gloves for the first time in a while.
I have today’s sunrise (picturesque, mind you, if you can be in this country) to blame for my Velvet Crush attack, but that was offset by the excessively loud emo music I had to deal with when doing 10 minutes of ab work at the gym before running the .8 miles back to the CHU.
