Today was a rushed start since I lallygagged too long doing sundry stuff. The first 4.75 was pretty hard, since I felt up to it. I took the last mile (or a little less) as a recovery so I didn't completely trash myself for later. Two particularly powerful memories pervaded this run. The first was prompted by thinking about the song (the iThink, which was a big part of my life when I was 18-19, among other things). The other was prompted from thinking about the first year I was married, among other things. It was a long time ago, and yet, the memory that came to mind was like it was yesterday. I'd wished there were more of those, but not as many as I think I'd like.
