Good god was I tired this morning. I totally did not want to get up, but I knew that the weather was going to be worth it, so I got out there and was rewarded by a pleasant break from the last two weeks of heat.
It was breezy, but there is rain forecasted for later this week, and the river is just short of flood stage here it at Fortress Leavenworth. As a result, the airfield has been closed as the Missouri River continues to rise. It'll probably go over the levee at the airfield later this week. Whee!
