After taking a day off yesterday, today's Sunday, and that means a long run, traditionally. That's fine, but I worked quite a bit harder than expected due to the presence of snow for large chunks of Chief Joseph Loop. This meant mud in some places and snow and ice in many others. Not surprisingly, I had to work a lot harder to get any purchase on a slick surface. The return leg was all clear pavement, so it was clear sailing, but I was more concerned about burning lard since my fatness is getting to the point where I may actually do something about it. In the meantime, I'm going to continue to take Naprosyn to treat my knees, among other things...
