There was still a substantial amount of ice on the dirt road on which I was running. I was checking out the utility of buying Yak Trax shoe covers, and am starting to seriously think about it. Although pavement was clear, there was some serious slip-n-slide going on as I ran over the ice.
Today's forecast is for 3-5 inches of snow.
This explains why my long run is happening on a Saturday rather than a Sunday. I'm not sure what I'll be doing tomorrow, but I suspect running isn't one of those activities.
