Bob Mould, “Underneath Days”
Falco, “Der Kommissar”
Anberlin, “Cold War Transmissions” (in spite of my best efforts to replace it with Hilary Duff’s “Wake Up” or “Come Clean”)

WX at 0800: 52, DP 41, BP 29.82, 15G21@270 dust haze

Odometer 4: 279.1mi

Z2-Z3 low.

Not wogging, due to the incredible headwinds at the start. The massive negative splits that we ran were only an indicator of just how fast the wind was going to and back.

This morning’s discussion with my running partner resulted in some discussion about how we were calling our garrison commander Der Kommissar (which is probably a better title than Der Fuhrer) and I mentioned that there were two versions of the song “Der Kommissar” – After the Fire’s, and in my case, Falco’s.
