I spent today in various states of anger, not mostly because of work. Part of it was because I had finally faced down the OPFOR Commander on a discussion that was coming, and probably presages more of the same.
Some others were seeing things on TV today that brought back many of my old demons and the guilt at having written orders that, however necessary, had sent people to their deaths.
But there is much more left in this tour.
No roll call this year. It has not changed since 2012.
