Today is day 166 of the campaign.

A late start, but I was stuck killing off some staffwork today. Today was a little more leisurely but I was fixed in the office. I did eat at the Embassy today and was frankly distracted. There are a lot of things that are distracting to be seen around the Embassy.

I also ate enough where I didn't feel like I needed to eat dinner, so I skipped out and made sure to run long (or least not short) tonight. Of course, now I have the munchies, but that's okay because I'm about to go to sleep.

And yes, that video of the Smiths' sound check is the one with the really striking photo of Sandie Shaw, albeit at the age of 17.  This sound check is my favorite recording - ever - of my favorite song by the Smiths - and one of my favorite songs, period.
