The weather was far too good not to get out and run long, so I did.

It didn't feel anywhere near as bad as last Thursday, and the times reflected it. Of course, I didn't do much of anything other than sit on my ass most of this weekend, and drink a lot of beer on Saturday night, and watch Johns Hopkins get the ever living shit beat out of it on the lacrosse field on Sunday, but otherwise, not much else.

  1. That was a shame, wasn't it?

  2. Holy fuck, have I seen beatdowns, but the last time I saw a clinic like that being done on JHU was by Syracuse in 1990...by some heavy hitters in the game like Gary Gait, Paul Gait, and Tom Marechek.

"This is not Hopkins lacrosse." So says Dave Pietramala in an interview after the fact. Ouch!!!

  3. I only caught the highlights, fortunately, but it was still distressing to see it go from 4-1 to, uh, 19-8... although I suppose we've done worse to plenty of opponents over the years.
