Today was the first run in three days. I'm wondering if my trail running is resulting in some delayed toughening; today's run started slow and painful. That was compounded by running generally positive splits until the last mile and a half which turned into a gigantic negative split speedup.
I chickened out yesterday since I didn't want to wake up at 4:00am to run before what turned into a long day at the brother-in-law's.
The day prior I think I pussied out because I was feeling weenielike.
Thursday's run was almost a nonstarter. I know I want to use the Tuesday and Thursday runs as easy days, but I have to figure out how to kick my running partner in the ass more effectively so he can stay tough. The murderous (comparatively speaking) heat index on Thursday didn't help either.

"pussied out because you were feeling weenielike", huh?
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've been needled about parallelism of structure.
ReplyDeleteWanker, eh?
