The weather is uncharacteristically pleasant for late May in scenic Fayetteville. I wonder when it'll break and get shitty-hot again.

Positive splits today weren't a big deal. I was being deliberately unambitious.

My knees are starting to hurt. Bad sign.

Today was intended as a recovery run, and I think it did that (primarily to metabolize lactic acid from Tuesday's death run). However, if I'm starting to feel some small sharp pains in my right knee, this is not a good development.

Fortunately, I have 500mg horse pills of naproxen sodium (commercially sold as Aleve) to tide me over. When in doubt, medicate, and drink.

Oh, I need beer.
