Unexpectedly fast. I wasn't feeling like I'd run an initial 11:20 split; while I was feeling faster, I didn't feel that much faster than usual. Based on the first mile estimate of 6:47 (which is partly due to a considerable downhill during that first mile), I decided to go hard for the remainder, and clocked my fastest time in a while. Not bad for no training, although my enforced break last week might actually have been a contributing factor.
Why this morning turned into the run of Peter Holsapple, I don't know.
