I've been alternating day on-nothing for the last week or so, although I need to get back on the wagon and start running more consistently.
I may have picked up a training partner for my easy days at work. This has some value in that he's slower than me, so my easy runs turn into his hard runs. It will force me to run slowly on days that I should.
Stretching beforehand led to a relaxed longer stride this morning, which paid off in relative effort for speed. Not hard, but not easy either this morning.
