I had to cut this a mile short for time constraints.
I knew the GPS was off! I was being cheated .05-.06 per mile and that's why I felt abnormally fast. I made it a point to run in lane 1 rather than lane 8 as I usually do...just to vet the GPS. I'm glad I did.
This makes much more sense.
It was a mite nippy, especially on the ears this morning. I might actually have to contemplate headgear for the first few miles of a run - of course, I wouldn't have needed it after mile 2 or so.
