Z3 start, Z4 finish. Average/max heart rate = 152/163
Today was a remarkably controlled, smooth run. It was not particularly fast, nor was it intended as such. I don't think my knees could take a lot of really hard running right now.
However, with one minor exception, I ran negative splits almost the entire run through. That's pretty good, actually. Some of it was that I deliberately held back the start so I didn't jackrabbit right away.
Weather was just about perfect too. I was treated to the sight of seeing two C-130s flying overhead in trail formation, running lights on. I almost felt like a paratrooper again! Almost.
Back to research as I did two oral interviews today, and I need to catch up on a few other things.
