I think direct sunlight is what's killing me on these runs, that and waking up much later than I normally should to go on a long run like the one I did today. Once I was in the shade, things were much easier, as well as the fact that I was burning fat. I don't know what the relative temperature is in the open when the sun is hitting me directly, but in the shade is not so bad.

The other thing that's making me work that much harder is hills. Still,there seems to be some improvement. At least.
