I wasn't sure how things were going to go this afternoon when I took the test. I comfortably max the first two events in less than a minute for the pushups, less than 90 seconds for the situps, but I never max the run. Today was no exception, although it's the first time I've scored above 290 in just over five years. I was pleasantly surprised at the run, although I went out much too fast, and hit anaerobic threshold within the first 400m after start. The second lap reflected my jackrabbit start and the last half mile was a grit-a-thon. Still, I'm done for another 6 months.

Weigh-in was the usual festival of tape testing. Nothing new.

Long run tomorrow morning now that I'm done with having to worry about running fast.

My knees were throbbing all night long afterwards.
