Today was about as good as I could expect for weather; I woke up tired as I was up revising the book manuscript after having sandbagged the softball game for my seminar yesterday.
I had bigger fish to fry, and on principle, I loathe organized sports in professional military education courses. If I want to play sports, it's because I care about it. I guarantee there's not a goddamn thing that mentions softball in the Joint Task Force Master Training Guide.
