Trail running is one of the highlights of any visit I make to Quantico because the trail network is amazing.  It's available for horses, mountain bikes, and runners, and while I soaked up a fair amount of mud today, it was not bad going at all.  I did do some walking going on the uphills (which were massively steep going both directions).  Once I was off the power lines portion of the trails it was much more reasonable.

I got in some road work as well but the reason I was running was to hit the trails.

The hills at Quantico are officially no joke.  I would really enjoy running these trails on a regular basis but know I would get gainfully worked out every time.
