I waited too long to start. I was waiting for El Gato (one of the last of the few left after The Intrepid Coworker's unit rotated out) and he doesn't like to run outside.
It gets hot outside, and markedly so after 6:00am. I was trying to hold faster than 8:00/mi, but I didn't factor in a late start, so probably not.
