My legs were pretty tight after Tuesday's run, so I decided to do some wogging today. I was much more warmed up after about 30 minutes, as is usually the case, and there was quite a bit of acceleration near the end. I've rechecked distance and it's not an error in measurement (when I run 45 seconds/mile faster in my last half-mile).
I was running what I thought would be easy ultramarathon pace. On pavement.
We passed through Fayetteville yesterday, so I got a real haircut for the first time since, oh, about November. Man, does getting the sides and back shaved off help in warmer weather...but I knew that anyway.
Tomorrow may bring some other developments. We depart tomorrow for Virginia in any instance and begin the Bataan Death Drive back to Fort Leavenworth probably Sunday.
