The Concept was fixed, with a new chain, a set of Model D grips and a new PM2 computer. Keen!

So much for thinking I was all recovered. I was killing myself just to hold a 2:15/500m today. I have, to quote Paul Simon, become soft in the middle now...to think I used to hold 2:08/500m with comparative ease.

The repairs on the Concept also had an effect on the turbine, as I was registering a drag factor higher than I've ever seen.

The wind was pretty fast all night. An hour earlier it had been gusting 43mph from a sustained wind speed of 29mph. Being an old paratrooper, I couldn't help but think "man, it sure would suck to have to jump in this" although it does exceed safety minimums for peacetime.
