Today was a bit more painful, but I've been dilatory in staying steady and actually running day to day. This is one of the few instances in the last few months where I've actually been diligent on doing so.

Today was nowhere near as fast as yesterday - nor should it have been. I noticed that even small uphills make a major difference to how I feel. I need to start hitting the weights again.

I also need to be better about not jackrabbiting my starts. This was particularly apparent as I started my first few hundred meters going about 7:30 pace. This is neither prudent nor useful.
