The Intrepid Coworker goes home today; he has richly earned his parole from the combat zone. I did meet up with him to go for a run and throw the rock around.
There is something bizarrely therapeutic about throwing a lacrosse ball around as people watch in amazement, but maybe that's my barely-hidden iconoclast coming out.
Today was not excessively fast, but it was a strong finish, and the weather was about as good as it's been for the last few weeks. Perhaps a fitting finish.

ReplyDeleteI haven't quite figured out who I'll lash up for runs now that the Intrepid Coworker is homeward bound.
I'll figure something out, though. Running here is good for the soul.
